The management at Hythe Pool already operate a policy that discourages the use of any photographic equipment at the pool. Hythe Aqua has received advice from the Amateur Swimming Association, that to conform to ASA Child Protection policies the club should adopt a similar policy. This policy will be adopted with immediate effect.

The general exceptions to this policy are:

	Teachers and coaches will occasionally use video cameras to assist teaching and coaching activities.**
	Photographs of competitors will be taken from time to for promotion, press releases etc.**
	It is accepted that parents may like to record medal presentations, sporting activities etc using photographic equipment etc. Any parent wishing to take photographs of this type, of their own children should ask a club official for permission and record their details in the club photographic register.
