Jodie Cowie qualified to enter the 12 years and Under figure section and came an excellent 8th place in the South East category and 10th overall in the Multi regional category which included competitors from the South East, South West and London areas.  Shakira Platts swam in the 15/16/17year old category and completed her figures with brilliant control finishing  11th in the South East section and 22d overall in the multi regional category.

Swimming against the top swimmers in the country, Hythe swimmers: Shakira Platts, Jodie Cowie, Natashah Wilson, Hannah Bacon, Emily Cowie and Amy Campbell impressed the judges and a packed balcony of spectators when they  all came together to compete in the 19years & Under Recreational Combination Team event, which is the spectacle of the synchro world.
