The world of synchonised swimming in Great Britain is undergoing fundamental change as part of the preparation for the 2012 Olympics. The changes have already delivered some success with medals at the Commonwealth Games earlier in the year.
One of the key changes is associated with competitive grade structure, where all synchronised swimmers across Great Britain are taking new grades as part of their long term development. Grade weekends have been arranged across the UK and Hythe has already had an excellent record with success pass rates at these events. A weekend in March at Reading provided further success for Hythe Aqua girls Charlotte Roche who passed her level 2 and also for Bethany Dearlove who passed her level 5 Skill exam only 4 weeks after taking her Level 4 which was an outstanding achievement. |
