Hythe Aqua has a strong Masters swimming section that trains under the direction of Coach Tim Wiseman on Wednesdays and Fridays at Hythe Pool. Masters swimming caters from length swimmers from 19 to 80yrs+ . Hythe Aqua provides suitable training across this broad age range with many of the older swimmers winning medals and points at the championships. Star of the day was Gill Prince who swam superbly bringing home relay teams in great style and also winning her individual events. Special thanks go to Pat Ling and Maureen Fakley who having just returned to swimming following injury performed well at the championships.
Thanks also to the young squad swimmers from Hythe Aqua that came along on the day and provided valuable assistance to the officials at the event. |
