Teaching Group Championships

The championships are open to all members of the teaching groups, from starters in Widths to pre competitive Intermediates.

Many of the trophies have been presented for many years and have the names of many top club swimmers engraved on them. The championships also include the Tom Palmer awards, which were presented in memory of Tom Palmer who was a voluntary teacher, committee member and club president at Hythe Aqua and was involved with the club for many years. Tom taught many youngsters their first strokes in the learner pool.

The recent championships were very successful and saw several swimmers earn their promotion to the competitive groups following excellent race performances in the pool.
