What an excellent night of swimming. Hythe Aqua swimmers from squads and teaching groups contested 66 heats across all four strokes.  Over 186 new personal best times were recorded, YES 186!!!!!!!!!   This means 186 swimmers swam faster than they had ever swum before.

There was an excellent number of entries from the Teaching Groups – well done.  This is how you get noticed by the coaches and team managers who select the club teams for competitions.  Unfortunately some of you got disqualified, learn from your mistakes and if you are unsure ask your teacher or coach for advice.

Special thank you to all the teachers, coaches and parents who gave up their time, to enable the event to take place.  We are planning a presentation night and disco/BBQ at the Hythe Cricket Club in the near future.  We look forward to seeing all competitors at the event and presenting the medals to 1st, 2nd & 3rd in the following age groups:  8yrs & Under, 9/10yrs, 11/12yrs, 13/14yrs, 15/16yrs and Open.
