Speedo Round One Report

WHAT AN EXCELLENT START !
What can we say apart from what a start to this year’s National Speedo League.
We had a complete, strong competitive team, with only a couple of swimmers missing, meaning no swimmers were constantly having to swim up for missing swimmers, therefore no one got tired and we stayed competitive right to the end of the gala.

What a result 2ND overall on the night with only Beckenham B beating us one of the strongest clubs in Kent and 4th in the League Table.

All the swimmers swam brilliantly with lots of PB’s. Team spirit was great, with everyone cheering each other on. There were no DQ’s at all throughout the gala which was a massive improvement.

Swimmers need to keep training hard, concentrating particularly on the STARTS, TURNS and FINISHES. If we all improve on them who knows where we will finish next time.

The next round of the Gala is on the 8th November at Mote Park in Maidstone, with the following team, Sutton, Maidstone, Dorking, Rochester, Erith. Our team will be announced this week and a quick response would be appreciated.
Well done again and keep up the hard work.
