Hythe Aqua had lots of qualifiers this year, from both junior and Senior Squads. The key aim at Hythe Aqua is to get the majority of squad swimmers to County standard and if swimmers commit to the training programme, there is no reason why this should not be achieved. Qualifying times are published on the Kent ASA website, which can be accessed from the www.hytheaqua.org.uk links page.
The successful swimmers achieving the qualifying times this year were:
Tommy Evans, Grace Walker, Folarin Ogunsola, Josh Hill, Daniel Burch, Zara Brazier, Jenny Newman, Shakira Platts, Robyn Wakelin, Jamie Platts. Al the swimmers competed well at the championships with two swimmers taking three county championship titles.

Zara Brazier – County Champion in the 12yrs 50m Backstroke in a time of 33.96s
Jenny Newman – County Champion in two strokes – 17/18yrs 100m Breaststroke in a time of 1.20.85 & 17/18yrs 200m Breaststroke in a time of 2.56.81.
