Development galas are specifically designed to enable swimmers to work on their competitive performance and improve their personal best times.  Hythe Coaches would ideally like all our swimmers to leave a development gala with a “Speeding Ticket” (although they would sore no points) as this would mean they had swum a new personal best and had personally reached a higher level of swimming.

However, everybody likes winning a trophy and on Saturday 12th January the Hythe Team swam excellently,  at Dover Pool recording a huge number of new personal best times, with some swimmers winning speeding tickets. The excellent competitive performance resulted in the Hythe team coming home with a 3rd place trophy.
