Three Mariners - Hythe Pub Raises Money for Hythe Aqua

The Three Mariners Public House in Windmill Street, Hythe has been raising money for Hythe Aqua swimming club over recent months.  The Three Mariners raised the money with their monthly quiz’s and also by promoting the club with a bar collection.

In total the Three Mariners raised £283.12 which will aid the club with buying new equipment to support their nationally accredited learn to swim scheme and competitive squad programme. The community quiz’s are held monthly on the first Tuesday of each month and Jude Noonan the landlady at the Three Mariners expressed her thanks to all the customers that supported the successful quiz nights.

A cheque presentation was held at Hythe Pool when the Swimming Club Captains received the cheque from the Three Mariners Landlady Jude Noonan.  Club Chairman Jim Parris expressed his thanks to the Three Mariners for their generosity and added that as a voluntary organisation most of the clubs income was spent on pool hire and so to have some extra money to improve equipment for the benefit of young members was excellent.
